Biography of Speaker
Thomas Armstrong, Ph.D. is the Executive Director of the American Institute for Learning and Human Development, and an award-winning author and speaker who has been an educator for the past forty years. Over one million copies of his books are in print on issues related to learning and human development.He is the author of fifteen books including:Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom 3rd Edition, In Their Own Way, Awakening Your Child’s Natural Genius, 7 Kinds of Smart, The Myth of the A.D.D. Child,and You’re Smarter Than You Think. His books have been translated into twenty-six languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Hebrew, Danish, and Russian. He has written for Ladies Home Journal, Family Circle and over thirty other periodicals, journals, and edited books.
